Project Overview

The Dlight team was proud to play a key role in the prestigious refurbishment and expansion of the iconic Mount Juliet Estate in County Kilkenny, one of Ireland’s most celebrated five-star destinations.

Completed in 2017, this flagship hospitality project included the complete renovation of Hunters Yard and a two-storey extension comprising 82 bedrooms and 11 suites. The transformation also introduced a new main reception area, refurbished bar and restaurant spaces, elegant function rooms and the construction of a new golf clubhouse.

This extensive redevelopment combined classic elegance with contemporary comfort, ensuring Mount Juliet continues to offer an exceptional guest experience in a world-class setting.

Along with many bespoke luminaires, Dlight collaborated with leading lighting brands including Eichholtz, IL Fanale, Rovasi, Leds C4 and Visual Comfort, to ensure the lighting design seamlessly complemented and enhanced the overall aesthetic of the project.
