The Amenity Space at St. Clare’s Development is the main social hub, serving 225 apartments. While the majority of the development was a new build, this amenity space is located in an old convent chapel. It was the task of Saul Design Architects to convert the former church space into a shared space for residents, a space that would be used for socialising, meeting, working and seeking assistance at the concierge desk.

Our job at Dlight was to design and supply the lighting solutions for this amenity space. The lighting chosen reflected the existing space, keeping in mind the detailing of the existing features of the chapel yet giving the space vibrancy and new life. The height of the building allowed us to include some amazing architectural lighting such as the classic Lightnet’s Ringo Star Luminaire.
